What we collect
- Community membership: first name, last name, email address, country of origin, country of residence, profession or industry, and the interests you select.
- Diaspora Capital Pulse register of interest: name, email address and country only. Fieldwork has not opened and no research responses are collected. When it does, participation will be optional and separately consented, and we will never ask for exact wealth figures, account numbers or financial documents.
- Partnership enquiries: organisation, contact name, role, work email, organisation type, partnership interest, optional budget range and your message.
- Forum interest: name, email, organisation, role, chosen forum and any message you add.
- Newsletter: email address and the page you subscribed from.
Why we use it
- To respond to you, deliver the content or briefing you asked for, and administer membership and event invitations.
- To produce aggregated, anonymised research. Individual research responses are never published, sold, or shared with partners.
- To assess and manage commercial partnership enquiries.
Legal basis
- Consent, which you give when you tick the relevant box, and which you may withdraw at any time.
- Legitimate interests, where you contact us in a professional capacity about a partnership.
Sharing and storage
- Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access restricted to the Beyond Home team.
- We use processors for hosting and email delivery. We do not sell personal data and we do not share individual records with partners or sponsors.
- Research data is analysed in aggregate. Research outputs contain no information that identifies an individual respondent.
Retention
- Community and newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Research responses are retained for the life of the research programme in anonymised form.
- Partnership enquiries are retained for as long as a commercial relationship or discussion is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Your rights
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict its processing.
- You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out.
- You may complain to your local data protection authority.
